Return Policy
This Returns Policy explains when and how purchases can be sent back to Valiant Art and Interiors and what outcomes to expect.
Eligibility window
- Domestic orders within Mongolia: Return request must be submitted within 3 calendar days after confirmed delivery.
- International orders: Return request must be submitted within 5 calendar days after confirmed delivery.
Requests filed outside these periods are not eligible
Returnable condition
To qualify, items must be in pristine state and complete:
- Unused and unaltered
- All original tags, stickers, authenticity cards, and care leaflets included
- Branded boxes, pouches, reeds, stoppers, inner wraps, and protective inserts intact
- No scents, stains, scratches, or signs of wear
Packages that arrive incomplete or show usage may be declined or assessed a fee as described below.
Items that are final sale
For safety, hygiene, or authenticity control, the following categories are not returnable unless defective on arrival:
- Opened aroma oils, reed sets, and diffuser refills
- Pierced earrings or jewelry that has been worn or resized
- Engraved, custom sized, or made to order items
- Vintage or collectible silverware with removed labels, altered hallmarks, or missing certificates
- Gift cards and any digital content
How to start a return
- Send a request: Email or call our team with the order number, product name, and a short explanation.
- Receive authorization: We will provide a Return Authorization Number and step by step packing guidance.
- Prepare the parcel: Use the original box when possible. Cushion fragile pieces carefully and include every accessory and document.
- Ship with tracking: Use a traceable carrier and share the tracking code with our team. Prepaid labels may be available for domestic parcels when the return is due to our error.
- Keep proof: Retain the receipt and tracking until the process is finished.
Returns sent without authorization may be refused at the warehouse.
Fees and shipping costs
- If the item is incorrect or defective, Valiant Art and Interiors will cover reasonable return carriage or issue a prepaid label.
- If the reason is preference change, sizing, or similar, the customer pays the return freight. Original delivery charges are not refundable.
Inspections and outcomes
- Timeline: Review usually takes 3 to 5 business days after the parcel reaches our facility.
- Approval: When the item passes inspection, we will confirm the approved resolution.
- Restocking: Items showing minor handling or missing non essential packaging may incur a restocking fee up to 15 percent to cover repacking and verification.
If the item does not meet the criteria, the return will be rejected and the product can be shipped back at the customer’s expense.
Refunds
- Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method. If a gift card was used, the credit will be returned to a gift card.
- Timing: Banks and card issuers control posting times. Most refunds appear within 5 to 10 business days after approval.
- Non refundable amounts: Shipping charges, insurance, customs duties, and brokerage fees are not refundable except where required by law.
Exchanges
If a different size, color variant, or fragrance is preferred, request an exchange within the eligibility window. The replacement will be set aside after the original item is in transit and verified by our team. If the requested variant is unavailable, a refund will be processed according to this policy.
Damaged or faulty products
Inspect deliveries immediately. If damage or a manufacturing fault is discovered:
- Photograph the outer carton, inner cushioning, and the item from multiple angles.
- Contact us within 48 hours with images and a description.
- Keep all materials until the claim is resolved.
Once verified, we will arrange a replacement or a full refund including applicable shipping.
Incorrect item received
If the product in the parcel does not match the order confirmation, notify us within 7 days of receipt. We will provide a prepaid label or organize a pickup and send the correct item or a full refund after the return is scanned by the carrier.
International returns and customs
For cross border orders, duties and taxes are set by the destination authority. If a parcel is refused or returned due to unpaid import fees or clearance issues, original shipping is not refundable. After the parcel returns to our warehouse in original condition, an eligible product refund will be issued.
In store assistance
Online orders can be handed to our showroom team after obtaining authorization. Store staff will record the intake and forward the parcel to the online operations team for inspection and processing.
Abuse prevention
We reserve the right to monitor patterns of excessive or fraudulent returns. Accounts engaged in policy abuse may be limited or closed in order to protect all customers.
