The project thus revolves around the most reassuring aspect of oversized furniture: simplicity. The essential and sturdy structure is constructed from an 80 mm diameter powder-coated aluminum tube. Resting on top is a rounded seat cushion, a subtle nod to the idea of an inflatable module. The backrest, like a bold parenthesis, promises comfort. The effect, beyond its natural charm, is one of pleasant roundness, casual and light. Seat in fire-retardant, non-deformable polyurethane foam with varying densities and polyester fiber with an internal wood frame. Backrest in flame-retardant cold-foamed foam and polyester fiber. Sled base in chromed or painted steel. Transparent PVC glides. The Pipe collection covers are not removable.
